Chris Nelson's Week 12 NFL Game Predictions
A third straight 12-pick week for me. I'm pretty amazing. Like Nostradamus. Already got one this week with the easy Pittsburgh pick. Let's get to it.
Last week's record: 12-4
Season record: 101-59 (63.1%)
Browns over Texans - I almost wanted to go with Houston here, but Cleveland's coming off a win over Buffalo and played good games in losses to Denver and Baltimore before that.
Cowboys over 49ers - Can the Cowboys get hot and make a playoff run? That remains to be seen, but they have a good chance to get a win here against the 49ers.
Buccaneers over Lions - Could Rod Marinelli get the Lions their first win of the season against his former team? Probably not, Detroit is just too awful.
Jets over Titans - Am I crazy? Perhaps. Tennessee has some injuries in the secondary, and as much as I want the Jets to lose I think this could finally be the game the Titans drop.
Bills over Chiefs - It's hard to pick the Bills here, even against the 1-9 Chiefs. It wouldn't surprise me to see an upset, but I think the Bills notch their first win in a while.
Bears over Rams - Orton's back and the Rams proved their few good games a while back were a fluke. Can't pick them here.
Dolphins over Patriots - A total homer pick, this game scares the crap out of me. It's not gonna be nearly as easy for Miami this time around.
Vikings over Jaguars - Jacksonville has let me down a bunch this year, so I'm picking Adrian Peterson and the Vikings to come out on top.
Ravens over Eagles - I think Baltimore will beat Philadelphia hear, unless it goes into double overtime in which case I expect McNabb to lead his team to victory.
Broncos over Raiders - Oakland's just completely unimpressive, and I don't expect Denver to have a problem with bitter division rival here.
Panthers over Falcons - A very tough division game to pick, but I think Carolina's great defense will be too much for Matt Ryan once again.
Giants over Cardinals - Arizona has the offense firepower to pull off an upset, but it's hard to pick against the Giants.
Redskins over Seahawks - Washington disappointed in a home game against Dallas, but should be able to handle the Seahawks.
Colts over Chargers - In a rematch of a great game from '07, I like the Colts to keep rolling over the disappointing Chargers.
Saints over Packers - An extremely difficult game to pick, I'll say Drew Brees lights things up at home and leads his team to victory.
