College Football Week 13 Line Moves (11/22/08)

Mitch WilsonSenior Writer INovember 22, 2008

It's my favorite day of the week during my favorite time of year and as is always the case on Saturday I go over all of the significant line and point spread moves in today's games.

We already saw a moving line come into play earlier this week on Wednesday night as in the Ball State-Central Michigan game the line opened at 7 and stayed there until game day when it went to 6 1/2. Luck (and maybe not so much luck) would have it the final score came in exactly at 7, so timing was certainly everything no matter which side you were on.

The free newsletter was sent out last night and, if you haven't received it, then email me and let me know and if you are signed up I'll send it out to you. It's our best yet and features three picks, two from Jordan and one from myself. I will be sending out another round of it before today's early games to catch all of the people who signed up late last night or this morning.

In any event, it's Saturday and I'll be doing my normal three videos; one each for the morning, afternoon and evening games. We have some great match ups and I'll be in the chat room for a lot of the day as well.

Well let's do what we do before the games every Saturday and see if we can find where the public has made the big push and maybe created an opportunity or two.

North Carolina State is +11 at North Carolina after opening at +13. I know I have been critical of the Wolfpack for years but they are playing decent and UNC isn't blowing anyone out.

Army is +19 at Rutgers after opening at +17. The Scarlet Knights against the Black Knights,, my money is on the Knights.

Purdue is -11 against Indiana after opening at -12 1/2. Indiana has been a disaster against the spread this year and I look for them to end their season showing the same form.

Eastern Michigan is +12 1/2  at Temple after opening at +10 1/2. For those who haven't been paying attention, Eastern Michigan is really bad.

Arkansas is - 1 1/2 at Mississippi State after opening at +3. I am thankful no one asked my opinion on this one all week as I have no idea.

Florida Atlantic is +4 at Arkansas State after opening at +5 1/2. I am leaning FAU is this one though the dropping points aren't making it any easier on me.

Mississippi is +3 at LSU after opening at +5. This should be a great one to watch and I was fortunate enough to get on Ole Miss early.

Boston College is +2 1/2 against Wake Forest after opening at +1 1/2. I like BC and I am thinking Money Line.
