An Offer, a Farewell, a Thank You, and A FANTASY SPORTS BLOG Is Now FOR SALE

I just wanted to take a minute to let you know that after nearly two years of blogging about fantasy football, it is time for me to move on. But before I let you go I just want to thank you for making my ride a good one.

You read my posts, listened to my shows, and commented on my posts. I couldn’t have done it without you.

Now, before I let you go, please read on so that I can explain myself a bit, and then I want to make you an offer.

WHY NOW?

I wanted to wait 'til the end of the year to pull the plug author this post, but my heart just isn’t in it anymore. This was not an easy decision, since I love NFL football, I love fantasy, and I really enjoyed blogging about each but they are taking time away from other things that—I realize now—I love doing even more (my family and music - see Musicgoat.com).

Also, I figured it wasn’t fair to be giving you information that was not up to par. You deserve good information and there is no need for you to waste your time reading my half-hearted analysis when you could be checking out all of the other great fantasy blogs (see blogroll on the right).

WHAT NOW?

I am officially putting this blog up for sale. If you or anyone you know is looking to jump into the fantasy blogging game, there is no better way to start. I have done a ton of work for you already.

I have a wide distribution, I have built up tons of backlinks, have high ranking for keywords with good traffic and a solid, memorable brand (something about the word Goat that people always remember).

There is much more and I could go into more detail, but I’ll save it for interested parties. Just shoot me an email if you are interested. I will send you all the info you need.

OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU…

If you are interested in trying this whole blogging thing out, I invite you to write either a waiver wire post on Sunday or Monday. Or if you are the start-sit type, you could author your thoughts on who will get it done on Sunday.

Whatever you want to try, let me know, I’ll set you up. You can let all of the readers here see what kind of skills you have. A test drive with no strings attached. Who knows, you just might like it and it could turn into a full-time gig.

Again, I want to thank you for everything you’ve done to help make FantasyFootballGoat a success. I really do appreciate it. I wish you all luck for the remainder of the season.
