Terrific old baseball pictures

For those of you that love baseball (this is a baseball site so I assume you do) this is a terrific link with great pics from the 60's through the 80's.

As someone who is haunted by the Mets inability to close out Oakland in the '73 series these pictures are no help as they have a ton of the Mets in Oakland during the Series.

Majority of the pics are in color so you get a great look at the brightness of colors the first generation of doubleknit polyester uniforms were.

Highlights include:

Skinny Rusty Staub
impossibly tight uniforms
NO BLACK UNIFORMS FOR THE METS (and they look awesome)
guys were either really skinny or had a bit of a gut
you can see the guys stirrups! always a bonus.

I had some problems looking at individual team pics but that could just be something going on today.

Anyway, enjoy. Mets Police is probably angry with me for not posting in ages but I blame it on post 'Mets choke' depression syndrome.
