The Florida Gators have had a large number of NFL draft picks over the last several years as they enjoyed both conference and national success.

At present, each NFL team has the largest roster numbers they will see all year.

Over the next few weeks, guys will get cut. The rosters will continue to get trimmed until they meet the eventual 54-man requirement.

Right now there are 41 former Florida Gators on National Football League rosters.

That number may trim down if people get cut or placed on the practice squad, but I will look at how they all preformed on a weekly basis for their respective professional teams.

It’s a good way to stay up to date with the former players we all came to know and love.

I will trim and add to the lists as the roster moves deem necessary.

Here is edition No. 1 with stats for the first week of the preseason, through August 16.
