Chelsea Transfer Rumours: Chelsea to Make New £38million Bid for Modric?
Chelsea have been linked with many midfielders in this transfer window, including the likes of Luka Modric, Javier Pastore, Kaka and some others.
While Pastore has revealed he made a move to PSG, the rumours relating to Kaka are not authentic, as there has been no news from any sources.
Chelsea's owner Roman Abramovic made a £22million bid for Modric last month, fueling speculation over the Croation midfielder's future at the white hart lane.
Another bid of £27million got rejected recently, with Harry Redknapp stating that even a bid over £30million may not tempt the Spurs to sell the midfielder.
According to the Metro.co.uk, Chelsea are ready to make a new £38million bid, using the funds obtained through the sale of midfielder Yuri Zhirkov to Anzhi Makhachkala.
If Chelsea do make such a huge bid, then Redknapp and the Tottenham board will have a serious decision to make!
