Moving Today's Market

The NBA dominates the schedule for the first Friday in November. There are 13 games on the schedule, and some intriguing plays have been triggered on some of these games. The public is pounding the side of the Hornets as they go on the road to play the Charlotte Bobcats. The Hornets are receiving 74 percent of the spread wagers, but the line opened at -7.5 with Pinnacle and remains at that line. The Wise Guys (professional bettors) are pounding the side of the Charlotte as they have triggered two Smart Money alerts at ThePig (+1.70 units) and Bodog (3-0, +2.75 units), which is keeping this line at -7.5. The public is also favoring the Jazz as they host the Thunder. Utah has received 78 percent of the spread bets, but the line opened at -11.5 at Pinnacle and now the line is at -11. Two Smart Money plays and one Steam Move on the Thunder has caused this line to decrease. One of the Smart Money plays was triggered at BetOnline (+3.30 units), and the Steam Move was triggered at ABC (+0.70 units). Jazz guard Deron Williams was doubtful for tonight, but now is going to miss an additional four-to-six weeks with an ankle injury.

On the ice is an interesting match-up involving the Stars visiting the Ducks. Anaheim opened at -170 with Pinnacle and is currently at -152. The public is slightly favoring the Ducks as 58 percent of the money line wagers are on them, but the Wise Guys are pounding the side of the Stars. There was a Smart Money play triggered by TradeSports (+8.60 units) on Dallas.
