*Sigh...* I Don't Care That the Browns Lost and Are Now 3-6

Ladies and gentleman, the Cleveland Browns have blown another fourth-quarter lead and lost another game. Our receivers and tight ends are still dropping passes in crucial situations, and our silly defense is not finishing games and is ranked 25th in the league.

So what if Quinn looked good? Any remote chance we had of getting into the playoffs as a wild card has seemingly been thrown out the window with a second-straight home loss that drops us to 3-6.

And I don't care.

We all know by now what the 2008 Cleveland Browns are all about. Although we do have enough talent on both sides of the ball to compete for a playoff spot (or at least assumed by NBC, ESPN, and the NFL Network with the five prime-time football games they gave the Browns this year), we always seem to find a way to lose important ballgames.

We also have a banal head coach who has to heavily rely on the coaching of his young coordinators. This season, the Cleveland Browns have proven to be nothing more than a decent NFL team that can't seem to get important wins.

The team has 11 days until their next football game and has ample time to examine not only their players but also their coaches and front-office personnel. Many Browns fans feel that Romeo Crennel is not the coach to lead this team to the playoffs, and dislike Phil Savage for his questionable record as general manager.

The team also has the opportunity to loosen the proverbial reins on Brady Quinn, and should allow him to play more freely since the team is not in a prime position for a playoff run.

We saw Quinn complete 23 of 35 passes last night. He threw two touchdowns and no interceptions and had a QB Rating of 104.3. He proved last night that he has the ability to hit open offensive targets in the short field accurately and showed flashes of playmaking mobility.

I don't know about you, but I am pretty excited to see Quinn become more relaxed in the Browns offense and allow the team and its fans to see what they have in him for the future.

And that is why I don't care too much that the Browns lost and are now 3-6.
