TNA: Matt Morgan's Injury Makes an Impact on Bound for Glory Series
You saw the raw emotion on his face when he spoke of his injury.
For Matt Morgan, that may have been as real moment as it gets outside the wrestling ring.
Morgan, the leader in the clubhouse in the Bound for Glory Series, had to take himself out of the competition this week because of a right pectoral injury.

The 7-foot behemoth had shown he was one of the favorites to win the 12-man tournament from the beginning of the series that would culminate in the finally at Bound for Glory in October with the winner becoming the top contender for the TNA World Title.
"I did not want to the world title. I need that title," Morgan said in a shoot interview last night.
You could tell this was not something that was fake; there was sadness, anger and tears.
Morgan, who is nicknamed the "Blueprint," had been toiling in TNA, having many opportunities to win world gold in the past but had come up short in his attempts.
Some even felt his time was running out on his chance to cash in on his talent and claim a world title.
For the first month of the tournament, Morgan had been anything but toiling with his opportunities, especially last week when he won a ladder match involving, AJ Style, Gunner, Samoa Joe and himself.
Many, including myself, thought it was only a matter of time before he could run away with the tournament.
Because of his absence from the event and the fact there are 11 competitors now, it is still anyone's guess who will win the right to fight for the world title.
Right now, Crimson, RVD and Bobby Roode appear to be the hottest wrestlers in the competition.
On the other hand, Samoa Joe is still pointless and is looking more and more like an afterthought in the race. The Pope also seems nonexistent and Devon had steam early on but has leveled off as of late.
In my opinion, Scott Steiner as well as Devon and Pope could have been replaced by Daniels or Eric Young or even someone from the X-Division to give it more pop.
And now that Mr. Anderson is not a world title holder, shouldn’t he have some place in the title hunt? What about Austin Aires?
For now, the tournament continues with 11 men. One will prevail and one will earn his shot. The others will think of why they did not claim victory.
For Morgan, it will be thought of what might have been.
