Golden Snub
Jason Kendall was flat out snubbed of a Gold Glove this year. Yadier Molina was the player to bring the hardware home instead. This is despite a large advantage in nearly every category for Kendall.
Kendall’s caught stealing percentage was 50 points better than Y. Molina’s. Even though he allowed more stolen bases he caught a huge amount of them. His SB/CS ration is 55/41.
He also had a better Zone Rating (.913 to .857), better fielding percentage (.995 to .986), and less errors (6 to 10) all in more games and innings than Y. Molina.

Jason Kendall deserved a gold glove this year for stellar defensive play and for helping mold the Brewers pitching staff into a dominate force for a large chunk of the season (even before they acquired CC Sabathia).
Nothing against Yadier Molina, but I believe that Kendall completely deserved the award and I am disgraced that he didn’t receive it.
