LPGA: 3 Tied for the Lead After the First Round of the Evian Masters
The Evian Masters is underway, and there are three players tied for the lead: Sweden's Maria Hjorth, Korea's Shin-Ae Ahn, and England's Karen Stupples.
Hjorth was the lonely leader after 14 holes, having birdied eight of them, but gave her advantage away after three consecutive bogeys (on 16, 17, and 18).
Stupples, on the other hand, had a slow start (37 out, one over par), but closed in style, birding six of the back nine.

Meanwhile, Ahn had a steady round, which included seven birdies and two bogeys.
The weather has become a factor in this tourney.
Rain has been intermittent and sometimes even heavy; therefore, greens and fairways are wet, preventing balls from running properly—sometimes they even get stuck in the mud.
In contrast, sun come out from time to time, but it's not enough to dry the area.
Tomorrow it is supposed to rain, but the real bad conditions should hit on Saturday.
Nevertheless, lightning isn't expected, so play shouldn't be suspended, but flooded sand traps and fairways might be the real problem.
Taking weather into consideration, keep an eye on Cristie Kerr, who is used to this conditions, and Brittany Lincicome, a very long hitter, both of whom trail by one.
World No. 1 Yani Tseng is also in the hunt, at three-under and tied for 10th, along with the Kraft Nabisco Champion, Stacy Lewis.
