UFC News: Rampage Jackson Attacks Randy Couture on Twitter

After his recent verbal sparring with Jon Jones at the pre-UFC 135 press conference, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson has turned his attention to UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture.

Jackson, who will meet Jones in a UFC light heavyweight title bout at UFC 135, recently had some disparaging comments directed at "The Natural."

"F**k @Randy_Couture I used 2 rep his line,and he always picked my opponents over me,at 1st it was cool till hamill #has been," Jackson posted via Twitter.

Jackson's verbal assault didn't stop there—shortly after, "Rampage" continued to provoke Couture and call him names. Jackson has appeared to have a good relationship with Couture in the past but suddenly has chosen to call out the 47-year-old and share his true feelings about him. 

Couture was able to respond to Jackson's comments and offered his explanation. Couture's response via Twitter, however, was much more tasteful and respectable.

"It sucks that rampage would take an objective pick on a fight personally . He's a great guy and a friend . All the best to him !"

It is unclear as to why Jackson suddenly lashed out on Couture, but it has certainly gotten the mixed martial arts community scratching their heads. Jackson might want to use this emotion to focus on his opponent, Jones.
