PGA Breaking News: Tiger Woods, Caddie Steve Williams Part Ways
Tiger Woods has announced on his website that he and longtime caddie, Steve Williams, will not be working together moving forward.
Williams had been on Woods' bag for 12 years and was present for 13 of Woods' 14 major championship victories.
“I want to express my deepest gratitude to Stevie for all his help, but I think it's time for a change," Woods said on his website.

"Stevie is an outstanding caddie and a friend and has been instrumental in many of my accomplishments. I wish him great success in the future."
Williams had recently been caddying for Australian Adam Scott but was expected to return to Woods' bag whenever Woods was ready to return to the game.
A replacement has not yet been named for Williams, nor has a date been set for Woods’ return to golf.
The “experts” and “analysts” will likely read into this decision from every direction imaginable.
But the one thing we know for sure is that Woods’ previously calm and predictable world is continuing to change by the day.
