Copa America 2011 Schedule: 3 Bold Predictions for Peru vs. Uruguay
Tonight at 8:45 ET, Peru will square off against Uruguay for a chance to represent their homes in the 2011 Copa America final.
The Copa America is the biggest soccer tournament South America has to offer, so undoubtedly the eyes of the Futbol world (and soccer world) will be on the matchup.
Uruguay is undoubtedly the favorite in this match, even though injuries and a suspension might hinder their chances, but Peru is boasting tons of momentum and confidence heading into the matchup.

Uruguay also has a history of excellence in the Copa America tournament on their side.
If they end up making it to the finals and winning, the country would earn a record 15th Copa America crown.
This is going to be an intense matchup. Just because Uruguay is entering the game as the favorite doesnāt mean Peru wonāt be able to contend and even win the match.
With that in mind, here are three bold predictions for Peru vs. Uruguay.
1. Luis Suarez Will Score For Uruguay
He has stepped up in the absence of Edinson Cavani and is playing hot right now.
2. The Match Will Be Decided In Extra Time
With the way this tournament has been going, I wouldnāt be surprised at all. Uruguay will get at least one goal from Cavani, as I predicted, but I expect Peru to tough it out and match anything Uruguay puts up.
3. Peru Will Win 3-2 in Extra-Time
Iām really riding the Peru train right now. They upset Colombia, and I think the feeling might be stuck in their blood. They are talented and feisty, plus Uruguay is dealing with too much adversity and injuries.
