WWE News: Why Listening to Fans Made Money in the Bank a Great PPV
For years, the WWE and the wrestlingย businessย in generalย have been turning off even the most diehard fans with stupid gimmicks and recycled storylines.
The Internet Wrestling Community has taken off in recent years because people had to find a place to vent about the terrible lack of direction in the sportโs most prestigious company.
There is no doubt that both the WWE and TNA Impact wrestling have the talent to make interesting cards, but itโs the unfair hierarchy that has made even the most diehard fans jaded.

WWE Blows It with Punk Win, More Raw Fallout ๐ฃ๏ธ

Fresh Rumors on Zayn, Sheamus, More๐
While the WWE has remained quite profitable through the years, the in-ring product has really suffered.
Just when all hope seemed dim and an end to the mayhem would never come, it appears theย wake-upย call came from the throat of superstar CM Punk.
It was during the re-signing process of Punk that Vince McMahon offered him everything his heart could desire, but Punk decided to launch into a now epic tirade that captured the attention of even non-wrestling fans.
Punkโs first shoot promo on Raw and subsequent shoots after talked about the unfairness of the WWE title system and how brown-nosers get ahead before the more talented stars.
It was the unbelievable support that Punk got from almost everyone that may have shown Vince McMahon that the way things had been going wasnโt the right direction for the company.
After weeks of hearing it from the fans, and judging from the PPV results, the people who decide the winners took the fans' popular sentiment into consideration. From top to bottom, the WWE put on an amazing show and showed that they have the talent to put on these kinds of PPVs all the time.
The real selling point will be when the final numbers come in for the PPV sales of Money in the Bank, and if they are as high as they were reported to have been, CM Punk may have just helped usher in the new age of wrestling.
Quality wrestling with exciting stories and the most deserving wrestlers get their shots at the world title belts, just like it should be.
