WWE Money in the Bank Results: Daniel Bryan Wins! What Does It Mean?

A flawless victory!

Against all odds, the "American Dragon" took home the blue briefcase.

Let me be the first to say congratulations! Never in a million years did I ever think it would happen, and I am so glad to be wrong.

The very fact he is the winner dispels any doubt WWE doesn't cater to "smaller" Superstars.

Case and point: Smackdown MITB winner Daniel Bryan and new WWE Champion, CM Punk.

Now, things certainly are much different than most of us expected.

While I rooted for Cody Rhodes, many of you claimed Wade Barrett or even, Sheamus was going to climb down the ladder, case in hand.

Did you notice how much "pop" the Celtic Warrior got?

People absolutely loved him, as did I. What a powerhouse!

I had a feeling he was going to turn "face" soon and I think it will be a good run for him as it may serve to propel him back to the top of the mountain.

Back to Daniel Bryan now...

I really hope he won't be displayed as the guy who will cash in and possibly lose. That would be a crying shame!

Watch as people start going paranoid like R-Truth now that I've said this.

He should hold on to it for a while and wait for the PERFECT time to use it. I'd like at least six months. It keeps us in suspense and helps develop Bryan as a true main-eventer.

There is enough time within a year to tweak, perfect, refine anything that still needs work.

He already has the fan base and the ring skills. Working on his "vocals" is one thing I could think of that needs revision.

Another, having a high-profile feud like the one he had with The Miz last year. That was great and the two meshed quite well in the ring.

I like what's going on between him and Cody Rhodes. It is great to watch so I'd finish that off first.

He has all the time in the world.

What I DON'T WANT is for the "Dragon" to waste his time on Christian.

That title reign ends very soon anyway. I won't even give Capt. Crunch five more words.

For the first time in months I am as excited to watch Smackdown as I am RAW!!

The only downer is the fact is it pre-taped damn it! There is no element of surprise like a few months ago, we already knew "The Viper" had beaten Christian for the gold before it aired.

Because of that, Daniel Bryan MUST cash in at a pay-per-view or even better, have some honor and announce his challenge in advance.

The winner of the briefcase CAN do that right?

It would be a refreshing change from the usual "dirty"mode.

My personal wish...Chris Jericho vs. Daniel Bryan somewhere down the line.

After that whole Orton/Christian mess is done with.

Though unlikely at the moment, it is still possible as Y2J left open the option of returning to WWE.

WrestleMania XXVIII is still over nine months away.
