Every once in a while, TNA promotes a regular episode of Impact Wrestling as a big show.  Tonight is one of those nights.

After Sting lost the TNA World Title to Mr. Anderson, Hulk Hogan told him that his rematch would be on July 14th. As the weeks passed, Sting snapped and dubbed the night “A Midsummer Nightmare.”

So what’s in store for tonight?

The British Invasion vs. Mexican America: No.1 Contenders Match

For weeks, Mexican America have been complaining about not getting a shot at the TNA World Tag Team Titles. They would proclaim that they have beaten every team in TNA and deserved a shot.

The British Invasion came and declared that Mexican America haven’t beaten them. A brawl ensued and Rob Terry made the save rejoining his fellow Brits.

With Rob Terry back in their corner, will the British Invasion once again become the dominate force they were in 2009, or will Mexican America back up everything they’ve been saying all along?

Madison Rayne vs. Tara

After Tara’s TNA career would come to end at Sacrifice 2010 at the hands of Madison Rayne, Rayne became a force to be reckoned with. Tara would return under a gigantic biker helmet as Rayne’s bodyguard, though.

For a year Tara helped Rayne in her quest to keep the title, going as far as to lay down for her when Tara “accidently” won the title. When Mickie James made her return to TNA, Rayne started to blame Tara for everything.

At Sacrifice 2011, Tara cost Rayne the title and was granted her freedom from her. Since then, they’ve been at each other’s throats more than ever before. Tonight we finally get see them go one-on-one.

Can Tara finally shut Madison Rayne up and get her revenge, or will the queen bee of the Knockout’s Division prove her dominance?

Samoa Joe vs. Bobby Roode vs. D’Angelo Dinero: Bound For Glory Series Match

Out of the 12 wrestlers in the BFGS, these three are the only ones with zero points. There are yet to get on the board and they’re frustrated about it.

At least Joe and Roode are as Dinero handed seven points to Devon when he himself could have gotten the points.

Who will gain the victory and thus finally gain some points?

The Jarrett’s return from Mexico with a surprise for Immortal

After Kurt Angle beat Jeff Jarrett in a parking lot brawl, Jarrett was forced to go to Mexico. The stipulation never said for how long, though, as he and Karen will be returning to the Impact Zone tonight.

For the past few weeks Karen has been saying that she has presents for everyone in Immortal.  Jeff on the other hand claims to have something big. If you follow the AAA promotion then you have a pretty good idea of what that surprise is, but if you don’t I won’t spoil it for you.

It could very well be something else, though.

So what do the Jarrett’s have in store for Impact Wrestling and Immortal?

Mr. Anderson vs. Sting: TNA World Heavyweight Title

Sting has lost his mind. Ever since he lost the title, he got crazier and crazier every week. As the weeks passed, he became more and more like the Joker.

On Anderson’s side, he joined Immortal. The champ now has the entire Immortal stable backing him. Immortal, though, has more enemies then just Sting.

While we haven’t seen much of it lately, Fortune is against Immortal. So is the X-Division.

Will Anderson and Immortal keep the World Title in their possession or can Sting overcome the odds, and maybe have some backup, and become a 15 time World Heavyweight Champion?

A Midsummer Nightmare is upon us. Tune in tonight to see what happens!
