WWE's Botchamania: The Biggest Mess-Ups Inside and Outside the Ring

It's painful to watch, and sometimes just downright funny. The definition of a botch is to ruin something through clumsiness. 

Some botches are just hilarious. Usually this happens on the mic, and the wrestler just goes with it or tries to cover it up. But some botches can cause serious injury, or even ruin a career.

No matter what your occupation, you don't want to botch it up, and these 10 superstars (in no particular order) did just that. 

The Miz Messes Up His Debut

Long before he was a contender for the WWE Championship, The Miz was nothing more than a scrawny Smackdown host. 

It's amazing how dramatically mic skills can improve.  Then again, it's pretty hard to find any mic skills worse than these. 

Marty Garner Botches the Pedigree

This was all on Marty Garner.  Marty thought Triple H was attempting a piledriver on him.  He claims to never have seen the pedigree before. 

It's not a very good idea to step in the ring with somebody when you don't know what his finisher is. 

This gaffe buried Marty Garner's career. He had a couple scratch matches, and then was gone. 

Cody Rhodes Oversells Everything

Part of what makes wrestling seem more real is the sell. If a wrestler can't sell a move, the match becomes unrealistic. 

However, there are lines that should not be crossed.

Here is Cody Rhodes overselling and flopping around like a fish. It's not the only oversell that I've seen, but definitely the funniest. 

Michael Cole Mixes Things Up

Michael Cole has been dubbed the "voice" of the WWE, but with botches like these, it's hard to understand why.

He has stated that Batista is the women's champion, Triple H has a husband, and that Edge has chosen to wrestle by himself for the world heavyweight championship.

Cole's days have to be numbered.

Chris Benoit's Botched Dive

Chris Benoit was one of the best technical wrestlers in the world, but his dive here was about as un-technical as it gets. 

This was an extremely dangerous botch that could have ended his career. 

Hulk Hogan Calles Himself Gay

This lackluster segment makes it hard to believe that these two people may have revolutionized the wrestling business more than anybody.

It seemed doomed from the start, and by the end all you could do was slap your forehead. 

Eve Uses the Force to Knock Her Opponent Down

This symbolizes everything that is wrong with the Divas division nowadays. 

If I were Eve's opponent and she drop-kicked me like that, I would just stay standing and make her feel stupid. 

Kaitlyn vs Maxine: Simply Awful

This is easily in the top five worst matches in WWE history.  I haven't had a second of wrestling training, but I'm sure I could put on a better show than this. 

Could the crowd be any more dead?  And those microphones on Vickie Guerrero and Alicia Fox were painful to listen to. 

The only thing that makes this watchable is the hilarious commentary. 

Randy Orton Breaks His Collarbone

This might not have been a botch as much as it was a wrestler pushing himself too far.

Either way, Randy Orton was legitimately injured and was scrapped from a new movie, The Marine 2.  His part was played by Ted DiBiase.  I wonder how that must have felt. 

Booker T Drops a Bomb

Booker T's reaction after he said the N word was priceless. He knew he had just messed up badly. 

The interviewer pretending like it never happened just capped off this botch perfectly.
