WWE Breaking News: John Cena, CM Punk Street Fight Occurs After Raw Goes Dark
CM Punk has just ripped his contract into pieces. John Cena and Vince McMahon look on in disgust and anger, but the truth is, they are scared.Punk, the underdog, has made his last will and testament be known.
“Money in the Bank” will be his final match, and he’s leaving with the richest prize in the game.
The WWE signature appears in the corner of your television set, the screen cuts to black, and the music stops. But that wasn't the end of the story.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
“Well, because it could be my last night here on Raw, and you find it necessary to continually run your mouth about how you’re taking the title with you after you leave the WWE…Why don’t you come and take it now.”
These were the words (paraphrasing of course) of Cena after Raw went dark on Monday. Cena continues to bait Punk, who has since disappeared into the back.
The crowd—those who had the patience to stay—erupts when Cena issues a street fight match to the straight edge superstar. A referee runs out to the ring.
My friend turns to me and says, “This won’t actually happen, we’re not even live anymore; show's over.”
And then Punk’s music ignites the Garden crowd.
Punk rushes the ring as Cena leaps out towards him, and the two exchange blows on the outside of the ring.
The action for this match was quick and had a lot of entertaining moments. In typical Cena-style he is dominated for most of the match. At one point he went for his signature shoulder blocks, but Punk ducked the second one (why don’t people do that more often? It’s not like Cena has never done that move before…Oh wait, I forgot, wrestling is fake. I digress).
One of the best quotes of the night that still makes me smile (I am a Yankees fan after all) had Punk using the microphone as a weapon.
“This is for Jeter,” Punk yelled into the microphone as he hit Cena on the head. A resounding thud echoed amongst the banners of Boston history hanging high over the ring.
“This one’s for me,” as he delivered another blow. Punk went for the pin, but Cena kicks out.
Punk then used a steel chair to incapacitate Cena, but instead of going for the pin Punk had other ideas. He spotted Cena’s dad and wife in the front row and began to yell at the two of them. At one point Punk struck Cena’s dad, and the biggest little jimmy of them all struck back. Punk, dazed and confused, rolled into the ring and was met with the AA.
You all know the ending to this story. The Boston crowd erupted in victory. Cena’s dad made his way into the ring to hold up the WWE title with his son.
I’m not the biggest Cena fan, but it’s hard to hate on a moment like that.
I had the privilege of attending WWE Raw live in Boston last night. The crowd was electric, the TD Garden was on fire and the pot the WWE has begun to stir has officially reached its boiling point.
Monday night Raw was a fantastic live show, and perfectly set the tone for what is sure to be one of the biggest, most intriguing events the company will showcase this year.
“Money in the Bank” should be the foundation for a new direction for the WWE.
