Rumors continue to swirl at Inter Milan about which players they plan on bringing in and which ones they plan on selling this offseason. The most talked about player has been their star midfielder, Wesley Sneijder.

The rumors about Sneijder seem to change daily, with conflicting reports being reported everyday. The most recent reports have stated that it is expected that Sneijder will stay with the club, despite rumors that he does not fit into the system of the new manager. However, the fate of where Sneijder will be playing next year is far from sealed, as the two Manchester giants continue to pry the Dutchman away from Inter.

Reports also surfaced last week that Inter tried to obtain the services of Eden Hazard, the very talented young Belgian midfielder, from Lille. However, Inter’s bid of €40 million was turned down by the French outfit.

The Nerazzuri appear to be very close to signing the Brazilian defender, Jonathan, from Santos. Jonathan has described himself as, “Maicon’s heir,” which will increase the rumors that he will be on his way out of the club. Jonathan and Maicon were previously on Cruzeiro together and the young Brazilian credits Maicon with giving him valuable advice on how to play the game.

The speculation regarding Samuel Eto’o seems to be ending, however. There were rumors that Eto’o had his heart set on a move to the English Premier League, but those now seem to have been dismissed. Eto’o turned down a potential move to Manchester City and has stated that he will remain with Inter.
