Klitschko vs. Haye: Live Blog, Reactions and Analysis for Heavyweight Fight

Greetings, fight fans. My name is Brian Mazique, major boxing enthusiast. I will be writing a live blog right here for the much anticipated heavyweight title bout pitting David Haye against Wladimir Klitschko.
The fight will begin at 4:45 Eastern Time, July 2nd and will be broadcasted on HBO. If you don't subscribe to HBO, this fight may definitely be worth a trial of sorts. Contact your local cable provider for details.
This is the first meaningful and intriguing heavyweight bout in years. It doesn't figure to reach the scorecards, as both men bring plenty of thunder.
The size advantage Klitschko brings into the ring is only augmented by his array of offensive weapons. David Haye's chance in this fight lies in his ability to get inside the jab and 81-inch reach of Klitschko to unleash his thunderous power and vicious combos to test the suspect chin and heart of Klitschko.
As any true boxing fan knows, the tale of the tape is not always the most telling story when analyzing an upcoming bout. Styles make fights, and if Klitschko is aggressive with power shots and abandons his jab, it will create openings for Haye.
Klitschko must resist the urge to brawl, and though he is the bigger, stronger fighter, he must outbox Haye to stay out of danger.
My prediction is a fifth- or sixth-round stoppage in favor of Klitschko, though I'd love to be wrong. The heavyweight boxing landscape needs to be shaken a bit. We will see if the charismatic Brit can do that.
See you tomorrow night.
Oh hell naw....i said I was going to play Fight Night Champion. Did David Haye just say he broke his toe 3 weeks ago? Its official, this fight was a waste for me.
As expected, Klitschko with a sizable victory on the official scorecards, a unanimous decision, victory, I'm gonna go play Fight night Champion for some better boxing action. I don't even wanna hear Larry attempt to make more of a fool of Haye than he did to himself in the fight. Peace and thanks for following
Haye won 3 rounds including the last one, my scoring was 8 rounds for Wladi, 3 for Haye and one even
i am 6'5", 250, i could have come in here and got my ass knocked out in the first 2 rounds and put on a better show than this. Haye has the nerve to raise his hand. He embarrassed himself, but he got paid....well
now wladi is coming for him, haye is pulling back now
Haye just hurt Wladi, but he is holding
from fight of the year to flop of the year. This is a disgrace and I don't blame Wladi, he is fighting his fight, a boring one but he's winning. Haye is a a better promoter than a fighter.
Haye flops again and the ref calls it a knockdown, that should have fired Haye up, but it hasn't
End of round 10, Haye seems content to just coast, Haye has landed 10 punches in the past 3 rounds combined. That has to be a punchstat record or something
He has to have a KO, he just got lit up by Wladi
Haye is jumpin off my favorite fighter list by the round,
More of the same, Wlladi stalks Haye, Haye dances around, but Haye is doing nothing and its pitiful
5 pt lead for Wladi, Hye needs knockdown, he landed a right hand, but nothin else
This is a terrible display up to this point for Haye, he is not punching, he is like a matador, but there is no bull. Klitschko isnt charging, Haye is just dancing around. I'l call Nigel, becuase Haye is auditioning for dances with the stars
Haye is embarrassing himself, he just tried to take a dive to win another point for takedowns. Respect level just dropped for him
not enough action, Haye has to step it up, he is losing every round, the deduction just makes that round even.
Haye landed right, Wladi just got a point deducted for his takedowns
terrible round in regards to action, this fight is beginninng to move down the boring path. Tons of respect and Wladi wont come out of his shell, frankly he probably won't have to, to win the fight, ound 6 is his too. 4-2 Wladi
blood under the eye of Wladi from the right hand at the end of the 5th
Haye has thrown maybe his first jabs of the fight, but Wladi takes him down again
Wladi just punched blemish n Haye's head in the 5th
More takedowns, but both fighters landed big rights, but that round was Klitschkos, 3-2 Wladi
It seems obvious that this announce team is largely biased. Roy Jones Jr is for Haye, Merchant is for Wladi and Lampley is neutral
Haye gicing this round away with hands down clowning, trying to frustrate Wladi
Haye tried to come on at the end of the 4th round, may have pulled an old Ray Leonard round stealing tactic in an uneventful round. Haye gets round 4, but they are all close. 2-2 right now
