WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When certain rules and boundaries are set, it is always to be followed by the person/persons who have set the standards to be followed and kept…that’s the point of setting them!
If the rules are not followed, there are consequences that will be set forward for a punishment.
In a company/business these are key factors; as they want to keep the strong and get rid of who they feel are the weak. You can be let go within seconds depending on the situation.
This stays true for the WWE; the non-stop ever expanding “Sports & Entertainment” promotion.
Unless you’re a “butt kisser”, you can be let go quickly for anything they see is deemed wrong according to their standards…especially if they see you as a weak link and they are waiting for a slip up to let that employee go.
But what if it’s someone who they somewhat valued and wanted to keep?
Especially when this person is highly touted and regarded as one of the best to speak on the mic and put on some of the greatest performances.
This means that the ball is in that superstar’s court and things will favor them.
This is true as the WWE would want to keep one of their so-called top superstars.
Well this story is actually playing out right now as CM Punk is on his way out of WWE doors.
CM Punk is seen as a top prize and true gem in the WWE roster, but WWE might not be that too fond of him as he has been underutilized and has been less valued as of late.
But just recently, CM Punk has been pushed back to the main event, as he is set to face John Cena at Money in the Bank live from Chicago (which is Punk’s hometown) on July 17 (the same date Punk’s current contract expires).
This has been seen as a last resort for the WWE to keep the outspoken, crafty and clever CM Punk.
Tonight June 27, Raw Roulette was set and great action was promised…did we the fans (true fans) actually expect some “great action”….NO, but we were wrong!
WWE Raw went out with a BANG and no I am not speaking of the R-Truth vs. Cena: Tables Match.
What had followed was one of the greatest, shocking and jaw-dropping moments in Raw history. A kind of moment we have not seen in a long time from the WWE!
CM Punk went on a rant that was spoken so well and so true.
CM Punk not only truly spoke his mind, but broke the WWE “fourth wall/”
After giving R-Truth the upper hand in the tables match who led to Truth's victory…CM Punk (sporting a Stone Cold T-shirt…huh?) went off.
He talked about being underutilized and not being seen as a top guy as he doesn’t kiss Vince’s behind like fellow competitors Cena, Hulk Hogan and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
He says this is the reason you don’t see him on collector items or WWE movies.
He even went as far as stating it sickens him that he is not in the main event of WrestleMania 28 next year but The Rock is.
Punk stated that Paul Heyman is his type of guy and that Heyman was the one who saw his true potential.
He compared himself to Brock Lesnar by stating they see Heyman as their “type of guy”…but one difference is CM Punk is leaving with the belt!
And maybe he will defend it in NJPW (New Japan Pro Wrestling) or even ROH (Ring of Honor)
He even went on to say hello to fellow friend and former WWE superstar Colt Cabana.
But the biggest jab at WWE was saved for last!
CM Punk stated that Vince McMahon is a millionaire but should be a billionaire, but he won’t be due to the fact that he is surrounded by “yes man” who agrees to everything Vince says.
Punk continued by stating the company is being run down to the ground and you think it would be better when Vince is “dead.”
He said it won’t, though, as it will be run by his “idiotic” (Stephanie McMahon) daughter and his son-in-law (Triple H)!
After this his mic was cut off and Raw went off air.
But is this all part of WWE’s plan?
THE FOLLOWING IS A SPOILER AND INFORMATION FROM SESCOOPS.COM from the taping of the July 4 Raw:
Rey Mysterio vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. R-Truth is announced for tonight in a #1 contender’s match for the WWE Title at Money in the Bank. Alex Riley vs. The Miz is also announced.
John Cena comes out and says Punk has been stripped of the match at MITB. Cena says they are going to act as if Punk never existed in WWE. Cena isn’t happy with what happened but says Punk has a right to say what he wants.
Cena wants answers from Vince McMahon and wants them tonight and he wants Punk at the pay-per-view.
With Cena addressing the situation you would think this might be WWE’s brilliant plan to bring some much-needed attention to the product!
It is the summer time and WWE does run their biggest storylines and plots around this time besides around WrestleMania.
But WWE has stated the following on WWE.com:
“Monday Night Raw’s abrupt conclusion last night was not due to technical difficulties. The decision to suddenly end the broadcast in that manner was made by WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon, who gave this quote to WWE.com:
“CM Punk was suspended indefinitely for his unprofessional conduct as soon as Raw went off the air.”
With his WWE contract expiring on July 17, one can only assume that this suspension effectively terminates CM Punk’s tenure with WWE.”
If this is true or not, WWE is getting some major attention!
So it will be interesting how this all plays out.
So let see how it plays out here at this link.
