WWE: Putting the Youth Movement on Ice Is a Bad Idea!
Happy Canada Day everyone!...if applicable, of course.
I recently read some articles stating that the WWE has decided to put its youth movement on hold for a while and push the older veterans like Mark Henry, for example.
This has to be the most ridiculous decision I have ever heard!

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Why do you want to to go back to the past? You have to have faith in the future and give your up and coming stars the chance to shine.
This feels like taking a step backwards.
The problem here is the way some people are booked.
You have your superheroes John Cena and Randy Orton who have held the title a million times and then you have their opponents, the "heels" that can never be made to win clean or look strong.
We have said and read many times how Cena and Orton DO NOT need the title yet we keep on having their reigns shoved down our throats at the expense of some of our own favorites.
Mark Henry and Christian, to name a few, are guys who didn't even make it back in the days of their prime so why should I believe they are worthy now?
I may not be a fan of Kofi Kingston or Wade Barrett, but I'd rather have them get a chance and prove everyone they are superb than watching good old Henry perform a "Strongman Slam" on Randy Orton after assaulting him from behind.
Money In The Bank is just a few weeks away. It is the perfect time establish a new superstar on the horizon.
We are already getting another Orton-Christian match. It should be a good one like the last few and perhaps the last one but I would really hate it if WWE booked a Fatal Four-Way match next and have a veteran like Mark Henry pin Sheamus to win the World Heavyweight championship.
Let me make this clear right now...I do not hate any of the superstars, old or young, but I don't agree on the sudden push of all those people we dismissed a year ago at the expense of the up-and-coming guys.
If Sheamus would have been made to look strong in the first place, like he was when he arrived in WWE, his title reigns and feuds would have been so much better. Instead he went from destructive force to a champion that never won clean.
The creative team just sucks.
Another fine example: The Miz.
How many times did I want him to look strong and win a match in a smart yet "heel" fashion. Never happened.
As a result, some people never believe in his reign and thus WWE took that "safe" route again and handed Superman his 10th World title.
And look how boring it is now.
The recent visit of Prince William and Kate Middleton to our country kind of proves a point here. They are young and stunning, a fresh new face to the old British monarchy that makes us feel a lot more positive about it than ever.
We have something to look forward to in other words.
The effect would not have been the same if Queen Elizabeth had come instead.
Didn't we hear about certain firings to happen soon? I would NOT fire young people unless I really had to.
I might not even fire older guys either just remove them from television and have them help the next generation instead.
To be blunt, I don't want Christian, Mark Henry, Big Show and Kane anywhere near the main event.
***On a side note, was Capt. Charisma's recent heel turn a way for WWE to ruin his fan base by turning them away AND not giving him the title ever again? That would leave him with nothing, and THAT is serious injustice.
***Another note, Mark Henry went from being the "Kool-Aid Man" to main-eventer? He was disregarded for so long and now what? I'm supposed to believe he is a legit threat?
Maybe I can be convinced but...
I want The Miz, John Morrison, Alberto Del Rio, Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk there instead to give John Cena and Randy Orton a run for their money.
If done correctly, you'd have some Must-See TV right there.
I hope this "Back to the Past" series ends soon.
