With the new bonus program being offered by the UFC, more fighters and MMA personalities are voicing their opinions on Twitter than ever before.

Because of the strange conflict in style during the Strikeforce: Dallas main event between Alistair Overeem and Fabricio Werdum, there were plenty of opinions floating around MMA's Twitter community on Saturday night.

Let's take some time to look at five of the most interesting Twitter reactions to the fight between Overeem and Werdum.

Danny Downes

"Seriously, I really need to get some of that horse meat that Overeem eats. Anyone have extra lying around?"

A few years ago, when Alistair Overeem bulked up to his current size, he mentioned that horse meat had been added to his diet.

To this day, many of Overeem's critics jokingly use horse meat as a metaphor for steroids. However, UFC lightweight Danny Downes appears to be a believer in the horse meat diet.

Perhaps, we will see an Uber-Downes the next time he steps into the Octagon.

Yves Edwards

"Werdum doing that bs that makes me hate bjj. Quit being a b---h [and] put him down if you want him down. Shoot a different [takedown]."

Count Yves Edwards as one of several who were not impressed with Fabricio Werdum's performance against Alistair Overeem.

From the beginning of the fight, Werdum was desperate to get the fight to the ground. After failing miserably to take Overeem down with double legs, Werdum began flopping onto his back any time he had the chance.

At one point, Werdum even clasped his hands and pleaded for Overeem to join him on the ground.

Brian Stann

"Werdum could shock us again. One of the most creative game plans I have ever seen."

Unlike Yves Edwards, the always-positive Brian Stann had only respectful things to say about Fabricio Werdum's unusual approach to his fight with Alistair Overeem.

Werdum is widely considered to have some of the best jiu-jitsu in the heavyweight division, so Stann wasn't counting the Brazilian out of the fight despite his inability to mount any kind of offense off of his back early in the fight.

After all, Werdum looked to be defeated in his last fight against Fedor Emelianenko before securing a monumental upset with a triangle armbar submission.

Joe Rogan

"Not a very impressive performance for Werdum or Overeem. The winner of this fight was Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos."

Joe Rogan, UFC commentator, even chimed in on the Strikeforce: Dallas main event after the decision had been read.

Despite Overeem's victory, Rogan was not impressed with the showings of either fighter in Saturday's main event.

Prior to the fight, many believed the winner would have a case for being named the best heavyweight in the world. However, the lackluster fight would make it nearly impossible to justify ranking Overeem ahead of fighters like Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos.

Jason Miller

"Fabricio won that fight."

After the decision was delivered unanimously for Alistair Overeem, Jason "Mayhem" Miller voiced his displeasure with the judges' opinions.

While Fabricio Werdum did outland Overeem 69-48 in total strikes, Overeem landed the more meaningful strikes for the most part and dictated where the fight took place.

To be fair, though, Miller was probably a little biased in this opinion, as Werdum is a frequent training partner of his at Kings MMA.
