There are reports today that suggest Barcelona forward Bojan could be on the verge of a move to the Premier League.

The Spanish international has struggled to for first-team football with the Catalan club in the last two seasons, as they have dominated domestic and European football.

With the likes of David Villa and Lionel Messi in front of him for a place up front, it may be time for the talented Bojan to move on.

Add to that the imminent arrival of Villarreal forward Giuseppe Rossi and there doesn’t seem to be any hope of him breaking into the starting XI anytime soon.

Both Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly interested in the dynamic striker.

Brought up through the Barcelona academy, La Masia, Bojan is a special talent, who was destined for greatness when he first bursted onto the scene.

After scoring countless amounts of goals for the youth team, he shot to prominence in the 2007 European Under-17 where he finished top-scorer despite being a year younger than the age group.

In the past couple of seasons his career has stagnated somewhat, with the lack of first-team football available to him, he hasn’t progressed as was expected.

Some reports suggest that he will be another youngster who would flatter to deceive once becoming a professional.

A move to either of these would be beneficial; he would still be playing at the top level that his talents deserve.

A transfer to Liverpool may work out as the best bet for him.

Kenny Dalglish has rejuvenated the side and the arrivals of players like Luis Suarez have ensured they will be challenging again for the Champions League next term.

The Reds seem to be in transition, with Dalglish and new American owners keen on buying young talented players for both now and the future. Bojan fits the category perfectly.

Arsene Wenger though may have other ideas.

He could see Bojan as another young star and even as a possible makeweight in any deal for Cesc Fabregas.

Quick, a good finisher and an able dribbler, he could fit into Arsenal’s slick style of play with ease.

If either team do go in for him they will be getting a very good signing. He’s fresh, hungry and looking to prove all his doubters wrong.
