Transfer rumors are now swirling around the Internet once again. However, there is one that just won't go away. Cesc Fabregas has always wanted to come back to the Catalan giants Barcelona. At just the age of 10 he joined the Barcelona youth academy, La Masia. However, at the age of 16 Arsenal recognized his potential and signed him. This summer Cesc could make another push to leave the club. There are both positives and negatives surrounding the topic of Cesc leaving or staying.

Why Should Cesc Leave?

The simple answer is trophies. Arsenal has gone trophy-less for the past six years. Their last win came in the 2005 FA cup. Ironically, they also fell short to Barcelona in the 2006 Champions League final. This is when Cesc was emerging as a superstar at the club. Cesc should also leave Arsenal because he is not showing the desire to play like he used to. If you watched him play this year, he wasn't performing to the level we are used to. However, there is a lot of pressure on Cesc because he is the captain of the team at only 24! Arsenal is going to have to make a tough decision with Cesc. It might be time to say good-bye to their captain.

Why Should Cesc Stay?

Cesc is part of a squad that is full of youth. Many of the players haven't even reached their full potential. The squad includes the likes of Samir Nasri, Jack Wilshere, and Robin Van Persie. However, Arsenal is weak at the back. The goalkeeping position might have finally been addressed with the up and coming Wojciech Szczęsny. Cesc should also stay because of Wenger. Wenger has struggled reaching into his pockets and the money for superstars that the club are in dire need for. However, Arsenal doesn't have a substantial amount of debt so they may able to make a splash in the transfer market. There are rumors of Falcao, Benzema, or Eden Hazard coming to support the attack. Arsenal is also attempting to address their defensive problems by chasing after Christopher Samba and Gary Cahill. These are just transfer rumors but we'll see if they develop in the coming months.

What does the future hold?

Only time will tell what will happen with Cesc Fabregas. If he comes to Barcelona then it will be interesting to see for how much and who will be included in the package. There are rumors that Arsenal want Bojan to help them out in attack. If he stays then hopefully he receives the support he needs. This should be a summer filled with compelling transfers. Cesc Fabregas is an integral part of Arsenal and the Arsenal faithful will have to wait to see what their captain decides to do.
