Free College Picks Week 9 10/25 11-4 ATS LAST WEEK

Well I missed on my lock of the week last Thursday night, but boy did things turn around for me on Saturday. An incredible 11-3 against the spread, including a 3-1 mark in PAC-10 games, the only loss being a ridiculous 80 yd drive by the bruins and a TD with 10 seconds left to cover against the Stanford cardinal who I had -1. So if you're still not sold on my abilities (11-4 ATS) maybe you should go buy your picks and only go 3-2 with the so-called "experts". But I'll keep puttin a hurt on Vegas for ya...

Upset of the week: Kansas -1 vs Texas Tech

There's a very good reason a 7-0 team, #7 in the country is an underdog this weekend. They can't play defense. Tech's defense has gotten worked by the likes of Nevada, Nebraska, and Texas A&M and the Jayhawks have a solid ground game and passing game that will score a lot of points. Harrell has proven he can make bad decisions at times and I like the Jayhawk defense getting at least 2 ints. Sharp on the ground and Reesing passing the ball is a strong enough combo to take the home team here with confidence. Mangino will have his boys ready to play after the loss @ Oklahoma.

Lock of the week: Nevada -3 @ Hawaii

This week we're going to the Big Island where Nevada visits Hawaii as a 3 point favorite. Nevada has a potent offense with dual threat Kaepernick at QB, Marko Mitchell at WR, and a physical RB in Vai Tau. Hawaii is not strong at QB and Funaki looked awful last week @ Boise and his O-line didn't help him out either. The pack will score often and -3 is a solid bet here on Nevada.
