Arena League: 2008 Arena Football Preview

The 2008 Arena Football season is going to be starting soon. Training camps open next week for all teams. This week I am going to be starting a preview on each team in the AFL. 

Tomorrow I'll start with the 2007 Central Division Champs Chicago Rush.

Now for the first Rankings of the 2008 season (Team, Division and 07 record)...

1-Chicago Rush(Central Division, 2007 record 12-4)

2-Philadelphia Soul(Eastern Division, 8-8)

3-Cleveland Gladiators(Eastern Division, Former L.V.Gladiators 2-14, in Western Div.)

4-New Orleans VooDoo(Southern Division, 5-11)

5-San Jose Sabercats(Western Dvision, 13-3, 2007 ArenaBowl Champs) 

6-Los Angeles Avengers(Western Division, 9-7)

8-Arizona Rattlers(Western Division, 4-12)

9-Colorado Crush(Central Division, 8-8)

10-Dallas Desperados(Eastern Division, 15-1)

11-Georgia Force(Southern Division, 14-2)

12-Columbus Destroyers(Eastern Division, 7-9)

13-Orlando Predators(Southern Division, 8-8)

14-Tampa Bay Storm(Southern Division, 9-7)

15-New York Dragons(Eastern Division, 5-11)

16-Kansas City Brigade(Central Division, 10-6)

17-Grand Rapids Rampage(Central Division, 4-12)

There are two teams no longer in the AFL that were in the league in 2007: Austin Wranglers (went to AF2), who went 4-12, and The Nashville Kats (folded), who went 7-9.
