We are now a week into the 2008-09 NHL season, and my hockey-crazed brother and I have begun work on our own fantasy hockey magazine, predicting the stats for every player on the starting roster of an NHL team.

We hope we can accurately predict most players' statistics and we hope to help you with your fantasy hockey teams. A new article will be posted every couple of days at the most, and some teams will come even sooner. We will be doing this in alphabetical order.

I realize I have fallen a little behind on these due to my schedule, but hopefully I won't be finished too late into the season.

St. Louis Blues 2008-09 Projected Lineup

Paul Kariya-Andy McDonald-Brad Boyes
Keith Tkachuk-Patrik Berglund-David Backes
David Perron-JayMcClement-T.J. Oshie
Lee Stempniak-Yan Stastny-Dan Hinote

Eric Brewer-Barret Jackman
Jay McKee-Steve Wagner
Jeff Woywitka-Alex Pietrangelo

Manny Legace
Chris Mason

Fantasy Stud: Brad Boyes

This talented young sniper will continue to score at a torrid pace.

Watch out for: Keith Tkachuk

Don’t let his fast start fool you—he should fall back down to earth pretty soon.

Roman Polak is here to stay. His play is incredible and I think that Eric Brewer might be on his way to another team.
