We are now a week into the 2008-09 NHL season, and my hockey-crazed brother and I have begun work on our own fantasy hockey magazine, predicting the stats for every player on the starting roster of an NHL team.
We hope we can accurately predict most players' statistics and we hope to help you with your fantasy hockey teams. A new article will be posted every couple of days at the most, and some teams will come even sooner. We will be doing this in alphabetical order.
I realize I have fallen a little behind on these due to my schedule, but the plan is to get a lot done during the four-day weekend I have this week. Hopefully, I won't be finished too late into the season.
San Jose Sharks 2008-09 Projected Lineup
Milan Michalek-Joe Thornton-Jonathon Cheechoo
Ryane Clowe-Patrick Marleau-Devin Setoguchi
Tomas Plihal-Joe Pavelski-Mike Grier
Jody Shelley-Torrey Mitchell-Jeremy Roenick
Dan Boyle-Rob Blake
M-E Vlasic-Christian Ehrhoff
Doug Murray-Brad Lukowich
Fantasy Stud: Joe Thornton
This guy just keeps on racking up the assists.
Watch out for: Joe Pavelski
He was good year last year but I don’t see him getting as many opportunities.
