Daily Market Wrap Up

Moving Today's Market

The Rays are only one win from joining the Phillies in the World Series, and they can put away the Red Sox tonight. Tampa Bay gives the ball to Scott Kazmir (12-8, 3.49 ERA) to try and finish off Boston. The Red Sox look to Daisuke Matsuzaka (18-3, 2.90 ERA) to kick-start their comeback and try to win three straight games to win the ALCS. The line at Pinnacle opened with the Red Sox at -151 and now sits at -148. Boston is receiving 55% of the money line wagers, so this an excellent indication of Smart Money play because the amount of bets are with Boston but the line is moving in the Rays favor.

There are also two college football games scheduled for tonight. Florida State heads to North Carolina to battle NC State. The Seminoles opened at -13.5 with Pinnacle and is now -11. The amount of spread bets are near even as NC State has received 51% of the wagers. Both teams have received Steam Moves at Bet Jamaica (+12.6 units), but the move on Florida State didn't come until the spread was at -10.5. The FSU/NC State game is on national television, but the BYU/TCU games is getting more attention in the betting market. The line at Pinnacle opened with BYU -1.5, but currently TCU is sitting as the favorite at -2. The line is moving in the direction of TCU, despite 73% of the spread bets on BYU, so that indicates Smart Money play on TCU. They have received numerous Smart Money plays, including one at 5Dimes (+5.11 units), ThePig (+5.00 units), Carib Sports (+3.90 units), Bodog (+6.95 units) and Bet Jamaica (+3.00 units.) There was also a Steam move on TCU at SIA (+2.6 units.)ย ย ย ย ย
