Week Eight SEC Predictions: Who Has What It Takes?

T.J. CallawayContributor IOctober 15, 2008

Well fans, we are halfway through the regular season and some crazy stuff has already happened...I have a feeling this week won't be any different.

Mississippi State Bulldogs at Tennessee Volunteers

I believe the Bulldogs from Mississippi State will get the win over the struggling Volunteers because, this season, Bulldog coach Sylvester Croom has been the better coach, and Tennessee has not proven if it has the team chemistry you need to survive in the SEC.

Ole Miss Rebels at Alabama Crimson Tide

Alabama will come out on top of this one easily because 'Bama is more physical than the  rebels and is just a better all-around team.

Vanderbilt Commodores at Georgia Bulldogs

Georgia should win this one with no problems at all. With Vandy, not sure what quarterback is the starter, but the Bulldogs' aggressive offense and great pass defense will shut down the Commodores early.

Arkansas Razorbacks at Kentucky Wildcats

I have to say Kentucky over Arkansas this week. Even though Arkansas had a good game over the overrated Auburn defense, Kentucky will get the win.

LSU Tigers at South Carolina Gamecocks

LSU is coming off an embarrassing loss to Florida and will take out its frustration on a Gamecocks team that has not proven anything this year, even though it has "the ol' ball coach."
