Dallas Cowboys Acquire WR Roy Williams from Detroit Lions

4:08 PM EDT The Detroit Lions have traded wide receiver Roy Williams to the Dallas Cowboys.

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that the trade was made today, just before the NFL trade deadline.

It is not clear exactly what compensation the Lions got from the Cowboys, but Schefter reported that Detroit received “at least one first-round pick.”

UPDATE 4:54 PM EST Dallas sent a first, third, and sixth-round draft choice in 2009 for Roy Williams and a seventh-round draft choice in 2009.
