The 2011 NFL schedules have been released, and the St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks, and San Francisco 49ers will all make two primetime appearances this season. The Arizona Cardinals...not so much.

The Rams will make their first trip to the new stadium in New Jersey to play the Giants in Week 2. This will be a Monday Night affair, marking their first time playing on Monday Night since...

Their other primetime game is a Monday Night contest in Seattle at the end of the season, where they will seek revenge for the loss that kept them from returning to the playoffs for the first time in six years.

Seattle and San Francisco have Monday and Thursday night games.

This level of representation in nationally televised games is a positive for the NFC West, as the division is fighting to once again hold relevance in the NFL.

They had little national exposure in recent years, but the Rams and Seahawks certainly showed well last season.

"Flexed" into the final Sunday Night Game of the 2010 regular season. The Rams and Seahawks received the highest rating for a Sunday Night since 2002.

Despite the established difficulty of west coast teams playing early games in the Eastern Time Zone, Seattle has five such games in 2011, giving a slight edge to the Rams on the season.

The 49ers have three early games in the Eastern Time Zone, and a fourth game is scheduled with a 10:00 AM PT start the last week of the season...in St. Louis.
