Pro Wrestling: "The Dream Matches" (Part Two)
Just in case You did not read Part one of this article I reinderate what I said at the beginning of Part one.
Well a few months ago at Summerslam we saw the match that we never though was going to happen. John Cena faced Batista in a match that was supposed to be destined for Wrestlemania, but I'm not complaining.
It had me thinking of other dream matches that would be awesome to see. I'm not talking about the lackluster Hogan/Austin or Rocky/Cena crap. I'm talking about matches that make you say, "Holy crap, yes!" when you hear about them. I don't do that when I hear the Austin/Hogan buzz going around for the millionth time. I want something better than that.
So I comprised a list of many awesome encounters that you might not think about right off the top of your head. I hope you like it:
John Morrison vs. Shawn Micheals: Well I'm not a hundred percent sure this one hasn't happened yet, but as far as I know this one is still a fantasy. John Morrison is the future of the WWE. I don't care what you say. He will be the guy that ends up becoming a big star in the WWE when guys like HBK hang up the boots.
Morrison reminds me allot of HBK back before he was breaking hearts. If these two guys were to "get it on" (and no, not like that) they would have a fast paced entertaining match. Sure Michaels doesn't get around like he use to, but he can still deliver match's that make my jaw drop to the floor.
HBK could really bring out the best in young Morrison. Not that he needs it, but Morrison could really put on a classic with HBK. I still have hopes for this one (fingers crossed).
Motor City Machine Guns vs. Paul London & Brian Kendrick: This is what I love about dream matches. Because there is no chance in hell of this match happening, but that is all the fun in it. You can simply imagine what the match might be like and that is all you need.
We all know that Brian Kendrick and Paul London have split up and that they're in the WWE anyways, but if they wern't and the had a match with MSMG then it would be a pure adrenaline rush from bell to bell. A high octane contest with so many crazy moves and counters that I wouldn't know what to down with myself.
Jerry Lynn vs. Chris Jericho: If you don't know who Jerry Lynn then let me explain. Jerry Lynn was part of the former ECW and also spent some time in TNA. A very talented guy who has been around for awhile and reminds me allot of "Y2J".
Jerry Lynn was best know for having amazingly technical matches with the likes of RVD, Lance Storm, and many others in ECW. These two men could have a hard hitting technical match that would get any crowd's blood pumping. There wouldn't be many high risk moves, but that would be alright with me.
I'd rather see these two spend 20 minutes warring each other down and picking each other apart than five minutes of nothing but "bumps." Too bad this ones a pipe dream.
Well that is all I got. If you have more than I would love to hear them.
Thanks for reading.
