WWE News: Independent Wrestler Alleges Hall of Famer Gave Him Hep-C
Lordsofpain.net reported that independent wrestler Devon Nicholson is one of the wrestlers featured in a new documentary called "Don't Bleed on Me".
In the documentary, several legends of the business talk about Nicholson's potential to be a star in the WWE. Sadly, he is unable to compete for the WWE, as he was diagnosed with Hepatitis-C.
In the documentary, Nicholson alleges he contracted the disease from one of his many matches with newly-inducted Hall of Famer Abdullah the Butcher.

Triple H Responds to Fan Criticism 🤷
For those of you that are unaware, Abdullah is infamous for "blading", not only himself but his opponents as well. "Blading" is an old-school practice which causes instant bleeding. The purpose of "blading" is to sell your opponents' hits and make them seem more believable.
Abdullah has several scars on his forehead caused from decades of "blading". His scars are so deep that he is allegedly able to fit a half-dollar coin in one of them.
Nicholson has tried out for the WWE, and former WWE wrestler/talent scout Tommy Dreamer felt he would be an asset to the WWE.
Unfortunately, after a mandatory physical, Nicholson found out his WWE dreams were never going to come to fruition.
Nicholson has video of what he feels proves that Abdullah was responsible for his condition. In the video, Abdullah first "blades" himself, then later in the match "blades" Nicholson with the same razor. It is believed that Abdullah hides his "blading" device in his taped hand. Many wrestlers have known about this for years; some have even witnessed it first hand and feel that Nicholson may have solid evidence.
Nicholson is not only obviously upset by his dreams being shattered; he is also bothered by the WWE inducting Abdullah into their Hall of Fame. Especially since they are aware of Nicholson's condition and where he believes he contracted it from.
This is a very sad story, and if it's true, it really is a shame. I get that Abdullah is from the old-school thinking in regards to wrestling, but it's 2011, and most people are informed on the dangers of contracting diseases through blood.
Abdullah's old-school thinking does not excuse this, especially if it does come out to be true. However, Nicholson does say that he didn't realize Abdullah bladed him during their matches.
I find it hard to believe that he didn't feel the razor being poked into his head. Not saying that he deserved to have this happen, but he does need to have some accountability.
Abdullah has been around long enough to know he is a tough wrestler who's notorious for cutting himself and opponents wide open.
If I were an up-and-coming wrestler, even not knowing this, I would do some homework before stepping in the ring with anyone, let alone Abdullah the Butcher.
