Randy Caballero: A Hot Prospect to Keep an Eye on

In the world of boxing, there are two dirty, lonely roads that are quite opposite. One road could lead you to the home of all champions, while the other road may introduce you to failure.

Both of these roads may be dirty, but it is the sacrifice and sweat that keeps the dirt off the road in order to eliminate the germs that may try to stop you. Few warriors choose the right path, while others end up rushing things by choosing the road with no speed limit.

Coachella's Randy "El Matador" Caballero (9-0, 5 KO's) is one of the few golden prospects who's heading in the right direction and breaking walls that are getting in his way with his powerful combinations.

Randy fought a great battle yesterday against Puerto Rico's Felix Perez (7-3, 3 KO's) at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif. Caballero pulled off the win by scoring an exciting second-round TKO victory over Perez.

Caballero is a smart fighter with a great amateur background. He has fought over 170 amateur bouts with an impressive record of 167-10. Randy has the talent and perfect style to succeed  in the sport of boxing.

Caballero seems to be finding new weapons as he continues his journey on becoming Coachella's next super star. He keeps improving, getting stronger, quicker and sharper.

During my interview with Randy Caballero, Randy stated that he has learned a lot from sparring great fighters like Nonito Donaire, Chris Martin and Abner Mares. When I asked Randy about his future, he stressed, "I'm in no rush at all. I'm young, I'm 20 years old, and like I said whatever they have plan for me I'm with great people."

This 20-year-old prospect could explode and be a threat to any top fighter as soon as two or three years. Don't be surprised if you start hearing the name Randy Caballero with other big names like Fernando Montiel in the future. Randy is highly motivated and ready to conquer anything that gets in his way.

If you are a fight fan looking for a fighter who will give it his all in the square circle, then you should consider keeping an eye on Coachella's Randy Caballero.

Randy is planning on battling back in the ring next month at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif.
