BCS Bowl Picture
BCS National Championship
USC vs. Oklahoma
The BCS National Championship would choose #1 USC and #2 Oklahoma to play for the national championship.
Rose Bowl
Wisconsin vs. Florida
The Rose Bowl would select Big Ten champion Wisconsin as a tie-in. They would have first choice of teams because they lost their Pac-10 tie-in as the #1 team in the nation. They would not have permission to pick conference champions Georgia or Wake Forest because of their tie-ins with other bowls. They would be able to pick from Florida, South Florida, and BYU. There are some other teams available from the SEC, but Florida is the highest ranked. There is no other Pac-10 in the top 18, therefore they would not be able to choose a team from their other tie-in conference. They would choose Florida to bring in the most money.
Fiesta Bowl
Missouri vs. Brigham Young
The Fiesta Bowl would select Missouri as a Big 12 tie-in. They would have second choice of teams because they lost their Big 12 tie-in as the #2 team in the nation. They would then select Brigham Young because they would be the last eligible team left after the Sugar and Orange bowls make their selections.
Sugar Bowl
Georgia vs. Penn State
The Sugar Bowl would select SEC conference champion Georgia as a tie-in. They would choose between Penn State, South Florida, and BYU for their next selection. They wouldn't have permission to select ACC champion Wake Forest. Therefore, they would select Penn State to bring in the most money.
Orange Bowl
Wake Forest vs. South Florida
The Orange Bowl would select ACC conference champion Wake Forest as a tie-in. They would be able to choose between South Florida and BYU for their next selection. They would choose South Florida to bring in more money leaving BYU for the Fiesta Bowl.

I like the predictions for the BCS games. I definitely could see those exact teams in the bowl games. Personally I would find the Wake Forest vs. South Florida match-up boring, but could definitely see that game happening.
Good article.

Too bad the season doesn't end after week 4, because if so, USC wouldn't even be in a BCS Bowl.

Does anyone else think it's ironic that the "OSU" from Oregon, not the one from Ohio pulled the upset of the "Greatest Team of All Time?"
Somebody--take that BCS trophy out of the Trojans hands.
I can't believe EVERYONE handed it to them after 2 wins.
Jeez.

It is ironic. I didn't hand it to them after 2 wins. I was hoping they lost. I think the best teams are all in the SEC and Big 12 this year and would love to see the winners of those conference championships to play for it all.
