So far we have looked at Georgia-South Carolina, Auburn-Mississippi State, and Georgia Tech-Virginia Tech. Onto the rest of the SEC and ACC where Arkansas and Maryland step out of conference with tough matchups from the Big 12 and Pac 10. Clemson and NC State meet in the Textile Bowl.

Rest of the SEC...winners in Bold
UAB @ Tennessee 12:30 ET Raycom
Vols have licked their wounds and should roll over the Blazers.

Arkansas @ Texas 3:30 ET ABC
This is an old Southwest Conference rivalry renewed in hurricane weary Austin. The Razorbacks just don't have the horses to beat the Longhorns this year and Texas should roll in this one.

Middle Tennessee @ Kentucky
The Blue Raiders go for their second BCS win against Kentucky. Ain't gonna happen against the Wildcats stingy 'D'.

Western Kentucky @ Alabama

  • B/R Ticket Guide

Clemson hangover is gone. Tide Rolls.

North Texas @ LSU
Game will be played in Baton Rouge. These storms have to have an effect on the Tigers eventually, but they should still win comfortably.

Rice @ Vanderbilt
Commodores coming off a big win? History tells me they blow it the next weekend and Rice is improved. Take the Owls.

Samford @ Ole Miss
Rebels win.

Rest of the ACC...
NC State @ Clemson
Textile Bowl goes to Clemson.

Chattanooga @ FSU
Terrell Owns ain't walking through that door for the Mocs. Noles chop.

Cal @ Maryland
The Terps have serious issues on offense. I didn't think I would ever say that about a Ralph Friedgen team. Cal wins, but closer than the line suggests.

Navy @ Duke
The Midshipmen won this high scoring affair last year. I think Duke wins this one in another high scoring game.

North Carolina @ Rutgers
The Heels did not exactly impress in their opener vs McNeese State. Gotta go with the home team in Rutgers.

Virginia @ UConn
Huskies lost a close one to the Cavs last year. They win this one by a two touchdowns (i.e. they cover).
