The man who has almost ended Chelsea's dream to defend their Premier League crown, Raul Meireles has been perhaps the only good thing that happened to Liverpool under sacked manager Roy Hodgson.

The Portuguese attacking midfielder has started to show his true form after a somewhat quiet start. He is at the heart of Liverpool's attacks and along with his creativity also adds more firepower to the Reds' frontline.

With four goals in the last five matches, the former FC Porto man is Liverpool's top man at the moment. He has a superb timing and understanding of the game which makes him all the more lethal as was proved much to the distress of Chelsea.

he has breathed fresh air into Liverpool's midfield and definitely deserves to be in the list.

Samir Nasri

Arsenal's French midfielder has been a revelation this season.

He has developed into the player promised by Wenger and has ably fulfilled his responsibility ably much to the joy of Arsenal fans. The attacking midfielder has already scored 14 goals for the Gunners and has been a vital reason for Arsenal's improved performance this season.

He has won himself couple of Barclay's Player of the Month award for his performance and has been a joy to watch.

Nani

The 2010-11 season has been the year that saw the rise of Nani as a world-class midfielder.

An impressive nine goals and 12 assists support the fact that Nani has been the red Devils' man to watch out for. The Portuguese winger has developed into a dangerous player. His superb ball control and dribbling abilities along with the blistering pace has made him an indispensable part of the Red Devils' attack.

He has come out the shadow of CR9 and made a name of himself this season.

Rafael Van Der Vaart

Perhaps Redknapp's last minute signing of the Dutch midfielder was probably the best transfer in the summer transfer window.

The Real Madrid attacking midfielder who can also play as second striker has been the most impressive in the new season. He has inspired Tottenham to superb wins against Inter Milan and other heavyweights of European football.

He has already found the back of the net 12 times already and has made 7 assists. He is Spurs' man-of-the-moment and is the main spearhead of their attack. Real Madrid must be ruing letting go the talented Dutchman.

Charlie Adam

Blackpool's in-form captain Charlie Adam has been the revelation of the season.

The Scottish midfielder is a vital reason for Premier League newbie Blackpool's meteoric rise and impressive performances. With six goals and six assists already the "Captain Wonderful" has been an inspiration in himself for his club.

His exploits on the field attracted interests from top English clubs including a bid from Anfield giants Liverpool. But it was rejected alongwith a transfer request from Adam himself. This man has already made his place twice in the EPL Team of the Month and a Premier League dream team midfield without him is unthinkable.
