I watch Raw every Monday like the rest of the Internet Wrestling Community (IWC), and I have a thought, or thoughts, every now and then. Like the rest of the IWC, I think I can do a better job than the current writers. So here are a few of my brain droppings:
Why is the WWE holding back Zack Ryder? He is a very solid in-ring worker, he can get over with a crowd, and he definitely has charisma. I'd like to see what he could do – if he can ever get a push.
I can not wait for Skip Sheffield to return. The guy is big, powerful, intimidating and good on the mic. I easily see him in the levels of Triple H and John Cena in the next five to 10 years.
The one thing that excites me about the upcoming Corre/Nexus feud is the eventual Justin Gabriel vs. Michael McGillicutty match. I feel their styles complement each other, a high flyer vs. a ground-and-pound wrestler.
To examine just how much disarray the women's (I refuse the use Diva) division is in, look at the Natalya vs. Melina match this past monday. Both women are great workers, they both easily could have gone 10 minutes. But the WWE chose to have Natalya bury Melina in three minutes. It could have been the best woman's match in the last three to four years.
I am getting very bored of The Miz's promos because every week it's the same thing. He talks about how great he is, gives someone a cheap shot that leads to a match, that leads to Alex Riley getting his ass kicked. Would the WWE please give The Miz something interesting to say!
The WWE should just go ahead and dump the U.S. Title. It's obvious that the WWE has grown tired of it. How often is it defended? Twice a year?
I can't believe the WWE is not using Gail Kim, I'll just leave it at that.
Speaking of the women, where is Eve Torres? Is she in WWE's dog hose, or has she completely fallen off the face of the earth?
I wish the WWE would bring back blood, I know it's not PG but I have a simple thought. The warning "to not try this at home" is like a dare to a kid, so bring back blood into matches. That will be the deterrent for kids: blood – do kids want to bleed?
That's all I have to say for now!
