I was inspired to make this slideshow by a fellow writer here on Bleacher Report. If you guessed Rize, then you would be correct. Rize recently did a slideshow entitled "LMAO: Some of The Funniest Segments and Owns In WWE History". It reminded us just how high WWE could reach with entertainment. It also reminded us that WWE could be funny and serious all at the same time. In an effort to make even more people remember the good ole days of WWE entertainment, I made this slideshow of some of the funniest Rock and Coach interviews in WWE history. Enjoy.
This video is by far my favorite of all the videos. It's simply hilarious.
The video is so funny that even The Coach can barely contain his laughter. And, if you miss the old days when profanity was allowed, then this video is for you.
It was always funny when The Rock asked the crowd if they wanted Coach to dance. This video proves how comical Coach could be.
This video proves once again how funny The Coach could be. Even when things went wrong, The Rock and Coach made this interview work.
I have no words to describe how funny this segment is. Judge for yourselves.
This isn't a WWE video, but it demonstrates how well these two men work together. It also shows how after all these years they still have mutual respect for one another.
This isn't strictly a Rock and Coach segment, but it was hilarious so I had to put it in this slideshow. Not only could The Rock cut promos with main-eventers, but he could also make mid-carders look good. This is a skill that seems to be lacking in WWE nowadays. It also showcases Coach's skills beyond being an interviewer.
This is one of those rare moments where Kane was actually in a funny segment. The Rocks' expressions really help to make this video. I am definitely proud to be a Kaneanite. Anybody else besides me?
Once again, this isn't strictly a Rock and Coach segment, but I had to add it. You won't be able to go through the whole video without laughing at least once. The Rock once again shows that he can do a promo with practically anyone in the WWE. On a side note, at around 4:35 you can clearly here a woman saying "Here he goes, come on".
There is no doubt that The Rock was one of the most charismatic; no wait that's not it. The Rock is the most electrifying man in sports entertainment. These videos show just how hilarious WWE could be. Of course, The Rock is the main focus of this slideshow, but it also shows that other people could be just as funny and charismatic as he was. What other interviewer endured as many antics as Coach did from The Rock and delivered every time? No matter who or where you are in the world, you simply cannot tell me that you didn't laugh at at least one of these videos. If you didn't have a good laugh, then you proved me wrong; props to you. So, what were your favorites? Do you have a favorite video that's not listed here? Let me know and Peace.
