Doing power rankings is tough, but because of the limited number of games on the NFL schedule, it's one of the only ways to get an idea of which teams are better besides just looking at their records.
At my site—www.GuysNation.com—I do a weekly power ranking of all 32 NFL teams. It's a hugely subjective process in which I account for a team's strength of schedule, margin of victory, good wins and bad losses.
With a record of 10-4 and victories over the Jets, Steelers, Saints and Buccaneers to go along with a narrow defeat to the Patriots in New England and a similar loss to the Falcons in Atlanta, the Ravens look like one of the strongest teams in the league. Obviously they're not ranked in the top two, as they're two games behind the 12 win club (having lost to each of them as well).
The Eagles and Bears are looking strong, and the Ravens did split the season series with the Steelers, so a case could be made for any/all of those teams to be ranked ahead of Baltimore.
So where did I place the Ravens amidst the 10-win club in the GuysNation Power Rankings?
