2010 Slammy Awards: Categories and Nominations

Tonight’s Monday Night Raw sees the return of the famous Slammy Awards, where this year there are nine different categories.

The categories are: Superstar of the year, Diva of the year, Shocker of the year, Knucklehead moment of the year, Despicable Me award, Holy **** Move of the year, Guest Star moment of the year, "Oh Snap" Meltdown of the year and WWE moment of the year.

This year there are no sections for match of the year or announcer of the year.

Superstar Of The Year

Nominees:

Raw: The Miz, John Cena and Randy Orton

Smackdown: Kane, Edge, Rey Mysterio

Prediction: Randy Orton

Diva Of The Year

This will be contested in a battle royal on Raw.  It will likely see a member of Laycool or Beth Pheonix win to set up a potential rivalry with current Divas Champion Natalya.

Shocker Of The Year

Nominees:

The Miz cashing in MITB and becoming the new WWE Champion.

John Cena loses to Wade Barrett and is forced to join up with Nexus.

Nexus take out Mr McMahon

Paul Bearer turns on The Undertaker at Hell in a Cell

Prediction: The Miz cashing in MITB

Knucklehead Moment Of the Year

Nominees:

Big Show unmasks CM Punk

Santino gets out-danced by Vladimir Kozlov

Beth Pheonix eliminates The Great Khali from the Royal Rumble

LayCool get beaten by Mae Young

Prediction: The title gives it away here, the Big Show will win this.

Despicable Me Award

Nominees:
