A lot of thanks and praise will be given by fantasy owners after Week 12, when they realize that Nate Washington and Calvin Johnson top the charts.

And while it is conceivable that Megatron is bound to have another great day, many people may ask why Nate Washington. Of all the receivers I could mention, why would it be him?

Well, it’s simple.

The guy is for real, and Kerry Collins LOVES Nate Washington.

Nate Washington has 5 touchdowns and two 100 yard receiving games to his credit already, including a 5 catch 117 yard performance against Washington last week.

So, just imagine what he is going to do against one of the worst passing defenses in all of football.

The Titans will also be without WR Kenny Britt for yet another week, leading the way for more targets and Kerry Collins really likes using the lofty receiver as his primary weapon through the air.

There are a ton of great match-ups this week, but Nate Washington remains a top notch start this week.

Speaking of top notch starts, how about Calvin Johnson against a horrible pass defense in Dallas, on Turkey day?

Not enough?

How about the fact he has 10 touchdowns in 10 games and literally owns every team he faces on a weekly basis?

Calvin Johnson will probably go down to the wire with Roddy White as the number one fantasy receiver by year’s end, but this week he remains the number one starting receiver in all of fantasy football.
