Crisis has struck Arsenal....
Most people are led to believe that a crisisĀ has struckĀ TheĀ Arsenal Football Club. Is this a myth or is there any substance?
Personally, I believe, very strongly, its a myth. We will only find out the true value of this article at the end of this defining season at Arsenal.
Arsenal is not in any crisis. If the fact that Arsene doesn't spend moneyĀ on transfers, the problem of everyone, then I believe it will remain that way. Arsene has for long, very long been an inadvertent supporter of the youth policy that he brought to the club. The supporters(fans), media, football pundits are unduly harsh on the manager. The reasonĀ is that he does not do things people want him to do for the short term benefit.

Arsene has always found able replacements for a penny while he has sold for a few pounds. The most recent examples are Cole-Clichy as the left footed genius, Viera-Fabregas as the midfield engine, Henry-Adebayor as the finisher. This isĀ one of the reasons we were able to moveĀ to Ashburton Grove, our home.
Gilberto Silva, Jens Lehmann were well past their prime and are not going to be missed as players(As individuals they will always be ours). Flamini was a one season wonder. Hleb has been replaced by a younger, technically equal yet cheaper Samir Nasri.
We have been plagued by a lot of injuries to key members of the squad hamperingĀ our progressĀ last season, more than anything else. We are lucky that we don't rely on only 1-2 players like Ronaldo and Rooney or Lampard and Terry or Gerrard and Torres.
The squad currently has what it takes to win the Premier League and the FA Cup. A strong finish in the Champions League looks very much likely. The Carling Cup will be the usual mystery.
If we do sign any more players in this transfer window it will be to add options but definitely not to overcome any crisis.
