Hello there. How's it going? Life going good? Happy or sad that Cena is "fired," or are you like me and just don't care? I thought the Eagles-Giants games was much more entertaining than Survivor Series and it was free, but to each their own. I'm back to fill you in on the news that you need to know. Without anymore waiting here it is!
Richard Gray of Wrestlingnewworld.com has reported that Triple H's return is "imminent." While he has not been able to confirm an exact date, it is somewhere in the very near future.
I would take this information at face value, for Richard Gray has many contacts in the industry and none of his articles have been wrong to my knowledge. I would believe the latest possible date for Triple H is the Royal Rumble, but with the possibility of Cena being "fired," at least temporarily, Monday Night Raw would need more star power. HHH could return as an on screen character at the very least to help with ratings.
The talents released by WWE recently were Tiffany, Luke Gallows, Vance Archer, Shad Gaspar, Caylen Croft, Jillian Hall and referee Aaron "Goose" Mahoney.
I'm surprised that Tiffany was released because she's married to Drew McIntyre, so I believe there is a very good chance she will return sometime in the future.
The WWE also shot itself in the foot again with the firing of Caylen Croft and Luke Gallows. Croft was one half of the only good tag team in the WWE, "The Dudebusters." Gallows was an incredibly talented big man who has been shafted by creative through the years. Best of luck to those two in particular.
Shawn Michaels was involved in a car crash with a drunken driver Friday night. No one was hurt, but everyone was shaken up. Shawn verbally ripped the intoxicated driver, who I hope was shortly arrested soon after.
DON"T DRINK AND DRIVE! I don't know how many times or how many people have to say it for it to sink in, but please DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE. I have known too many people who have been killed by something so stupid. Michaels should consider himself blessed for him and his family not to have been hurt.
Eric Young has signed a new agreement with TNA, but for half of the salary his past deal was. The general feeling in the locker room was that Eric had no other choice at this point in his career.
The final bit of news is that Desmond Wolfe, a.k.a. Nigel McGuinness, is due to return from injury soon according to Dixie Carter's Twitter.
Wolfe had a career-threatening injury that forced him to take time off late in the summer believed to be related to head trauma. This was the same reason he failed his physical with the WWE. Hopefully, he is healthy enough to return to the ring without making the condition worse.
So, that's the news for today. Please leave all comments, questions and concerns below. Thank you.
