No.1 Georgia vs. Georgia Southern
Knowshon Moreno and Matthew Stafford start their year off against the mediocre Georgia Southern team. Expect Georgia to have a big game.
No.2 Ohio State vs. Youngstown State
Beanie Wells begins his quest for the Heisman Trophy against Youngstown State. Ohio State might play Terrell Pryor if they are up big enough.
No.3 USC @ Virginia
Possible upset alert here but it doesn't seem likely as a good rushing attack might over power the Cavalier defense.Ā
No.4 Oklahoma vs. Chattanooga
One of the dark horses to win the BCS Title, Oklahoma kicks off their season against Chattanooga. Oklahoma is in a tough Big 12 conference and every win is necessary.Ā
No.5 Florida vs. Hawaii
A team without Colt Brennan is not much of a team and Hawaii will not even come close to Florida's spread offense.
No.6 Missouri vs. No.20 Illinois
Chase Daniel is another top Heisman contender and looks to over power rival Illinois at home. Illinois looks for another Big Ten title and hope that Juice Williams can continue his success in his college career.
No.7 LSU vs. Appalachian State
Coming off a big win against Michigan in the Big House, Appalachian State looks to upset defending champions LSU Tigers.Ā
No.8 West Virginia vs. Villanova
Noel Devine and Pat White led Mountaineers will look to start off their title run against Villanova.
No.9 Clemson vs. No.24 Alabama
Nick Saban is Forbes' Most Powerful man, but will he lead Alabama against Clemson.
No.10 Auburn vs. LA-Monroe
Tommy Tuberville has not named a QB yet but he has high hopes this season for Auburn in a very tough SEC.
No.11 Texas vs. Florida Atlantic
Texas has a double threat at the quarterback position. Colt McCoy will most likely start for Texas and win big against Florida Atlantic.
No.12 Texas Tech vs. Eastern Washington
Michael Crabtree hopes to win some votes this year for the Heisman as his season starts off against Eastern Washington.
No.13 Wisconsin vs. Akron
Wisconsin tries to get back on top in the Big Ten against Akron.
No.14 Kansas vs. Florida International
Kansas' Todd Reesing tries to prove that last season wasn't a fluke and they look for another Orange Bowl run.
No.15 Arizona State vs. Northern Arizona
The Sun Devils look for a Pac-10 title run and look to throw off USC and UCLA.
No.16 BYU vs. Northern Iowa
BYU is another dark horse in the BCS Title hunt as they are the highest non-BCS school ranked in the Top 25
No.17 Virginia Tech @ East Carolina
East Carolina lost their best running back in school history in Chris Johnson and don't look to loaded against Frank Beamer's VA Tech team led by Sean Glennon.
No.19 South Florida vs. Tennessee-Martin
Matt Grothe is looking to guide South Florida to a big bowl game this season and trying to prove that last season wasn't a fluke.
No.21 Oregon vs. Washington
Oregon opens up against Washington in a Pac-10 conference home opener. Oregon is not a powerhouse this year but can contend in their conference.
No.22 Penn State vs. Coastal Carolina
This might be Joe Paterno's last season. He is the oldest coach in the game and is looking to gain a National Championship.
No.25 Pittsburgh vs. Bowling Green
LeSean McCoy has something to prove this year if he wants a bid for the Heisman Trophy. McCoy had over 1300 yards on the ground last season.
