Death By MMA
Disclaimer: I am not a fan of MMA...At all. However, I do know just enough to know when a man's life is at stake just like anyone else would. So I now bring you this...
Ken Shamrock...what are you doing?
Before MMA was mainstream and there were 1,000 different promotions (guaranteed to make MMA suffer the same fate as boxing) there was UFC.
Throughout the 90s Ken Shamrock was the face of the UFC. He was a psycho, and thus very entertaining. In a very Sylvester Stallone manner, he also paved the way for his brother to be a less talented, more hack version of the original.
Ken Shamrock was the worldwide face of MMA when a special businessman came a knocking.
Vince McMahon offered Shamrock a ton of money to become a pro wrestler based entirely on his MMA persona. Shamrock accepted and had a good run in World Wrestling Entertainment (formerly the World Wrestling Federation).
Since his departure from pro wrestling, Shamrock has had a handful of return bouts, and has gotten whipped in nearly all of them, winning only one bout in the last 6 years.
Shamrock, now age 44 is looking to right his wrongs and score one final victory, against this guy...

That, in case you needed reassurance, is Kimbo Slice. I don't care what his skills set in the octagon is.
I don't care that he's not technically sound.
What is important is that Slice is a monster who looks like he is made of steel and has made a career out of, literally, rearranging people's facial features.
He is in the best shape of his life, and more importantly, is 10 years younger than Shamrock.
With all of that said, I have a message for Shamrock...
Kenneth, I know you are getting a big pay day for this. But it's not too late to just back out.
Fake injury, strain a hammy, whatever you need to do. You seem like a reasonable guy, what are you doing? Please don't die.
Love, The Takeover
