The hot topic of the last few days is obviously Brock Lesnar and Undertaker's confrontation after UFC 121.
This led to a huge buzz and the rumor machine turned full speed with speculations about a Lesnar vs. Undertaker encounter at Wrestlemania 27.
It didn't take long before the UFC's owner turned down the idea, mentioning Lesnar would not fight anywhere outside UFC.
While the scenario looked attractive, it just would not happen anyway.
Despite the fact Dana White cut short any hope for such a happening at the next Wrestlemania, there are five other reasons why the match won't happen.
1. The Guest Non-Wrestlers Always Won at Wrestlemania
Each and every time someone outside the WWE was scheduled for a match at Wrestlemania, he always won.
They won't change that tradition, particularly to break The Undertaker's streak.
2. The Buzz Won't Last
Wrestlemania is in five months and the WWE can't keep such a hype for so long.
The buzz with Lesnar and Undertaker is NOW and will end in few days.
3. Lesnar Will Focus On the UFC Heavyweight Title Rematch
It would not make sense to have a challenge issued right after Brock Lesnar lost a match and the UFC heavyweight championship.
For now and for the next months, his main focus will be to get back his belt. He won't train for a "useless" contest when the UFC heavyweight title is more important than anything.
4. Neither of Them Can Lose the Match
The Undertaker's streak won't be stained for an "exhibition match," particularly that it would not benefit WWE.
If the streak is meant to be broken, it will be by someone in the company receiving the ultimate push.
Brock Lesnar can't lose the match because it would ruin MMA and the UFC's credibility to see a "real" fighter losing to a fake wrestler.
5. Vince McMahon's Ego
It could benefit WWE to have such an event at Wrestlemania, but McMahon's ego is too big to let an "outside" factor steal the spotlight at HIS biggest show.
Wrestlemania is all about WWE, and a UFC fighter won't outshine McMahon's superstars on HIS beloved grandest stage of them all.
Unless there is a lot of money on the line for Brock Lesnar and Dana White, that match will never happen.
Unless McMahon has bought UFC or White has put the hand on WWE, Lesnar won't face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 27.
So, what are your thoughts?
Do you think it's possible to see Undertaker vs. Lesnar at Wrestlemania? Would you like to see that match?
Is it possible anyway?
